Multimedia Kit (Criteria)

Group Members: Marvelle, Sacha, Hildretha, and Deltus

Subject; Science
Topic; Reproduction in Flowering Plants

Objectives; Students should be able to;

1. define the term reproduction.
2. identify the reproductive organ of flowering plants.
3. label the parts of the reproductive organ and identify the male and female parts.
4. define the process of pollination.
5. explain the process and types of pollination.
6. define the process of fertilization.
7. describe the fertilization process.
8. explain some reasons why reproduction is important in plants.

Method: The KWL strategy will be used to teach the concept

Media: power point, movie, animation, graphic, sound

Materials: laptop, LCD projector, speaker

My fellow group members please edit and make corrections. I am also extending the invitation to my other classmates and Mr Emmanuel, feel free to criticise

  1. great...so the graphics will be the still photos or animation of flowering plants and the video will be of the actual process of the fertilization in a flowering plant, be it through the wind blowing the pollen or a bird or be transferring the pollen.

  2. yo JnPhilip, I like your organization! lol. I have a couple questions; your method, is it only the KWL strategy? Are you gonna use the KWL to teach the concept or introduce it? Do you think 8 objectives might be to much? I think objective 2 and 3 can be combined: Identify and label the male and female reproductive organs of flowering plants. *I'm not a agricultural science student, so if I'm wrong no worries just inform me =p lol*

    So what do you think?

    *Mr. Emmanuel are we designing the multimedia kit for just 1 lesson or a concept, which might take more than 3 lessons*

  5. I agree with Mr. Wallace on the part that there may be too many objectives. I think it's a very interesting topic. Just one question: In how many lessons do you plan on achieving those objectives? For objective no.6 I think you should probably separate the objective into two parts: Explain the process of pollination and Identify the different types of pollination

  6. These are quite a few objectives. Are all these to be met in one lesson? Consider breaking these into more than one lesson.
